Sunday afternoon, driving in the rain, scanning the radio.

Push….Push….Push.

Push, push, push. Pushpushpush! (Some days are harder than others!)

Finally I land on Joe Bullard’s old school show, which is where I would always begin on Sunday afternoons if my brain wasn’t such a leaky sieve.

There’s Joe’s voice. Then there’s the Hi house band. Then there’s Al Green with “I’m Still In Love With You,” backed by “Let’s Stay Together.”

If that won’t heal the cracks in your brain, nothing will.
